Unique taste and know-how in an exceptional restaurant

The restaurant is defined by perfectionism, intensity and know-how as well as the hotel. When designing the restaurant and selecting staff a main point was to serve guests and citizens of Gyula according to this view. The Komló Restaurant was established in 1913 and is a main part of Komló Hotel Gyula since then. 

The restaurant is available for 110 person, on the menu local and regional meals are represented. Traditional and reform tastes can also be found. All of these are made by the most qualified and ackowledged kitchen staff. Expanding all the time, form the menu and we accept unique requests too to satisfy any needs.

Drinks follow the same view, local manufatures provide us with tasty “pálinka”, beers and unique, meaningful wines. 

Anyone can visit the restaurant with a gallery throughout the year, and the coffee terrace seasonally.

Payments can be made through bank transfer, cash, credit card and “Széchenyi Pihenőkártya”

Weekly offers

We care about our guests and that they find meals for their taste and health. 

We provide daily cold and hot breakfast, and drinks, many types of bread, pastry, scone, cakes, cereals, yogurt, normal or flavoured butter, jem, honey, salami, cheese, fresh vegetables, fruits, salad, pie, egg meals. 

We are aiming to provide the best in every area. 
 
Our traditions require to offer the best service to our guests. We find it important to get materials from local producers. We are proud of the local “pálinka” made in Gyulai Pálinka manufacture and craft beers provided by Békésszentandrási Sörfőzde. 

We are especially proud of the kitchen and our chef, Szeidler Zsolt. 

Zsolt was a member of the hungarian team at the chef Olympics in Erfurt, 2016. When designing the menu, he thought of those who like to eat gourmet food and those who are sharp-set. The menu includes traditional and unique meals as well. As the chef says: “traditional meals rethought and made with modern technology.”

Gluten free and vegan meals are also present and we kindly wait for individual requests too. We try to be aware of those who require special meals. We use allergic signs in the restaurant and on the menu as well. In case you cannot find the proper meal for you, please contact our staff.
